For the past half dozen years or more I’ve been wanting to get pictures of the ‘Manhattanhenge’ effect, especially when it was a little known event.   It is now a major news item and a Google search will show it.   It does make for some great photos, and Mother Nature didn’t totally cooperate, but I think the cloud cover made the shots made a little more interesting.  And I must say, it was very fun to have watch people stand in the middle of the road every time the light turned red to take whatever pictures they could.  Anyway, finally I can post my first Manhattanhenge shots!
