Sadly, we did not have enough time to walk this entire trail of 7.5 miles, which doesn’t include walking back or another 4 miles to the bus back down the mountain, so we had to cut it at 3 miles, and reverse course.  This trail was cut along the side of the mountains, which made it a little tricky at times.  There were apparently a lot of forest fires burning that day which created the smokey haze that you can see in some of the pictures.  Sadly, this is the last batch from Big Sky Country.  Hope you enjoyed.
